The season of Antarctic Exploration always begins with a worship service at Christchurch Cathedral. It is at this worship service that I received the Erebus Chalice and presented a blessing over the season. The Chalice is then safeguarded by yours truly until it is placed into The Chapel of the Snows. This picture is me holding the Chalice under the statue of Robert Falcon Scott looking South toward the goal of continued blessing and exploration.
