Today marked the start of two unfortunate incidents in the fire department. One of the firefighters got his leg caught under one of the tracks on a vehicle similar to the one pictured here. In spite of the possible worse-case scenarios he only suffered a fractured leg and was medevac'd home. The other incident involved another firefighter who was medevac'd with symptoms of a stroke which thanks be to God wasn't the case. Needless to say, both emergent cases created a real loss for the fire department.
With both cases, they formed an honor guard that posted outside the clinic for the loading of the patients onto the medical transport. These guys are on top of things!
