At 0235 (2:35 AM) Local Time on 22 October 2008 the Sun came up and stayed up for the duration of the Antarctic Summer 2008. The next sunset will be on 21 February at 0117 (1:17 AM) Local Time and the next sunrise will be on 21 February at 0259 (2:59 AM) Local Time.
